A future in the UN
Listen up students of Lund and members of Lunds UN association! Are you interested in the work of the UN and want to work internationally?
Lund’s UN Association welcomes you to an inspiring panel discussion with three professionals who have experience of working for or with the UN system. The UN-system is a multifaceted and diverse professional field, and Lund’s UN Association wants to highlight all the varying opportunities that exist within the international humanitarian field. Regardless of your field of studies, there is something for everyone within the UN!
Together they will discuss their background, how they got their job, and together we will learn more about the practical parts of the UN, what you can work with and how you’ll get there. In the end there will be time for questions and mingle, and you’ll get a chance to connect more with the speakers. Among the panelists Anders Lidén, Swedish diplomat and former Permanent Representative of Sweden to the United Nations in New York, as well as Shahin Olesén Eghraghi, who has served 23 years in the Swedish Armed Forces, and in UN, NATO and EU missions, will join us to tell us more about their experiences.
The event is open for everyone, and no ticket or sign up is needed. However, there are limited places available so make sure to be there early to secure a spot! The doors will close strictly at 18.00, so no academic quarter.
When: Monday 12th of May
Time: 18.00 (no academic quarter)
Where: Botulfshörnan, Stadshallen (Stortorget 9, 222 23, Lund)
